• Biography

  Currently completing a Masters Business Studies thesis with Massey University. My research asks how Maori participate in the commercialisation of genomic material and data of taonga species. Currently there is little understanding of the nature and extent of Maori participation in commercialisation and benefit sharing of taonga species. This subject matter provides an opportunity to investigate existing status of Maori engagement, expectations, value and relationships that exist within a commercial context and whether there is fair and equitable benefit sharing. With over 20 years business development and management experience I am excited to be part of the GFANZ Council supporting our capability and society purpose.
