Shannon Ormond

Shannon is an early career researcher with an interest in genomics. She studied a Masters in the area of human genetic disease at Massey University, where she developed a passion for the fast-developing field of bioinformatics. She enjoyed running a student bioinformatics group during her time at Massey. Shannon is currently working in a plant biotech start-up, but in her free time enjoys being involved in the GFANZ community.
